A 1970s Trifari Gemini necklace, quietly cosmic and very of its time. The rectangular pendant features the twin motif in relief, suspended from a fine gold tone chain. Slightly mystical, slightly tongue in cheek, exactly what the decade did best.
Signed Trifari.
Founded in 1910, Trifari became one of the most respected names in American costume jewellery. By the 1970s, the house was producing zodiac and symbolic pieces that tapped into the era’s fascination with astrology, while maintaining the solid construction and finish it was known for. Collectible, but still easy to wear.
