Vintage Sarah Coventry flower brooch, 1970s
Silver-tone daisy brooch with turquoise cabochon petals and a pale green centre stone. Signed Sarah Coventry to the reverse.
Sarah Coventry was an American costume jewellery company founded in 1949, which sold exclusively through home party sales rather than retail — a distribution model that made it ubiquitous in American households throughout the 1960s and 70s. The pieces are consistently well-made and increasingly collected.
