Incredible drop hoop earrings from the legendary House of Hubert de Givenchy. Made in France in the late 1980s from a matt satin gold finish.

Givenchy is an iconic French fashion house renowned for its timeless, elegant jewellery produced during the 70s, 80s and 90s, which are now highly sought after and collectible. Founded by Hubert de Givenchy in 1952, the brand gained fame for its association with Audrey Hepburn, who became Givenchy's greatest muse and wore the label in some of her most famous roles, including Breakfast at Tiffany's. By the 1970s, on the advice of Cristóbal Balenciaga, Givenchy diversified into accessories and shoes and arrived on New York’s Fifth Avenue in 1976. Today, Givenchy jewellery continues to be a symbol of sophistication and luxury, sought after by collectors and fashion lovers around the world.

These earrings are a deadstock item and so are in excellent condition with the Givenchy stamp on the reverse. They also come with the original pouch/box.
