A bit about Lanvin
The story of Lanvin began in 1889 at a small hat shop in the heart of Paris where Jeanne Lanvin was a millinery apprentice and seamstress. Jeanne Lanvin obtained a lease on the prestigious Rue du Fauberg Saint-Honore four years later and established her fashion house. Success was instant and she became one of the most influential designers of the 1920s and 30s. In the 1960s and 70s Lanvin costume jewellery exhibited geometric forms inspired by the 1920s and 30s.
