Founded by Hubert de Givenchy in 1952, the brand gained fame for its association with Audrey Hepburn, who became Givenchy's greatest muse and wore the label in some of her most famous roles, including Breakfast at Tiffany's. By the 1970s, on the advice of Cristóbal Balenciaga, Givenchy diversified into accessories and shoes and arrived on New York’s Fifth Avenue in 1976. Today, Givenchy jewellery continues to be a symbol of sophistication and luxury, sought after by collectors and fashion lovers around the world.
